Adzhika (Salad) - vegetables caviar. (Canned)
(We make this Salad in September for winter time)
Ingredients:
1 kg carrot, grated
1 kg apples, grated
2,5 kg tomatoes, minced
1 kg sweet paprika, chopped
100 g paprika, chopped
Method:
1. Bring to boil the vegetables.
2. Simmer 50 - 60 minutes. Add remained Ingredients:
200 g garlic gloves, crushed.
1 cup (200 g) olive oil (or Vegetable oil)
1 cup (200 g) Apple vinegar (5 - 8 %)
1/4 cup salt
1 cup sugar
bay leaf
1. Bring to boil and mix.
4. Simmer 5 - 7 minutes.
5. Ladle hot vegetables into hot sterilized jars, pack the mixture. Seal.
