The Cabbage Salad is very tasty and healthy food, rich of vitamin C. This salad can be delicious
appetizer. Cabbage renders the stomach costive, makes sleepy, strengthens the sight and helps in case of chronic cough or enteritis. Cabbage juice with sesame oil is very good for tonsillitis. Put cabbage leave around your head to relieve headache.
Ingredients:
1/4 head cabbage (white firm head)
1 carrot, grated into strips
1 red beet root, grated into strips
1 - 2 apples, grated into strips
1 cup green peas, canned, (sweet)
200 g (8 oz) ham, not fat, chopped into strips
100 g (4 oz) chicken breast, fillet, not fat, boiled and chopped into strips
100 g (4 oz) any meat, fillet, not fat, boiled and chopped into strips
3 - 4 tbsp mayonnaise, your favorite
Method:
1. Slice the cabbage into julienne strips. Sprinkle the cabbage with salt and sugar.
2. Arrange all meat in the center of serving dish, around meat place vegetables.
Pour mayonnaise over meat.
3. When serve stir thoroughly all together.
